Trenches is a game for the iPhone made by Thunder Game Works. It’s a WW I battlefield game that along with original music and sound effects, includes original dialog spoken in both British and German.

In Trenches game for iPhone or iTouch, you act as the battlefield general, making strategic decisions about soldiers and weapons, and ordering them to move forward or retreat. While it is not exactly a strategy game, you will need to use some strategy. You might consider it to be a line drawing game as that is how you control the troops under your command.

On the Trenches ipod touch game battlefield you’ll find trenches (no surprise here, right?) and barbed wire between you and your enemy. Throughout the game there are various weapons available including machine guns and even artillery. There is no shortage of carnage in this game.

In skirmish mode you can choose how everything is set up, which can make for a quicker game.

There is also a mode that was released as a “secret mode” when the iTouch game was first released. But so many of the players found it that the developers have come clean. The “secret mode” is a zombie attack. That’s right – in the middle of a WW I battlefield, your army is battling against zombies. When it was first released this mode was all but unbeatable but that seems to have been fixed in the most recent release.

The Trenches iPhone game also boasts an adaptive AI that learns very quickly from your strategy, and I believe from everyone else who plays too, so that it can present a game you will find worthy of the challenge, and to keep the game fresh and new each time you play.
